Join us for this meetup about Color Grading In Photoshop. Although it is not the most important part of the retouching process, color grading can dramatically set your images apart. Photographer and retoucher Brandon Wyche will be going over, using adjustment layers to achieve a signature look to your images.

Topics covered in course:

-Color Theory
-Color wheel
-Hue, saturation, luminous
-Complementary, analogous, and monochromatic
-Raw Processing
-Color correction vs color grading
-Color grading in the raw processor vs Photoshop
-Preparing the raw file for Photoshop
-Some tools available in Photoshop for color grading
-Solid Color Layer
-Photo Filter
-Gradient Map
-Selective Color
-Channel Mixer
-Color Lookup
-Black & White

Color theory and grading are vast topics with many books written on the subjects. This meetup’s goal is to give you an overview of the tools available in Photoshop. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. After this meetup, I recommend everyone to explore further about the theory behind these methods.
